Life with Scalar Waves (and a cat with opinions)

There are forces we cannot see, yet they move us all the same.

For centuries, mystics have spoken of hidden currents that knit life together. Today, physicists give them names—energy fields, scalar waves. I simply call them the invisible threads. Animals already swim in these currents. They don’t question how they know when a storm will break, or why their paw rests on your hand at just the right moment. They just trust what they feel.

Last week, I had the honor of working with a dog who had been diagnosed with the parvo virus. It was touch and go—the kind of case where every breath feels like a question mark. In moments like this, I fall back on Scalar Waves, one of the most powerful tools I have in my healing arsenal.

Time and again, Scalar wave has been my go-to: for life-threatening conditions, for chickens who suddenly stop eating, for cats miserable because they have been left alone with a sitter. I return to this method, because it works.

The story of Scalar begins in the 1800s, with Nikola Tesla and James Maxwell—visionaries who glimpsed a world of hidden currents. But it would take nearly a century for healers to notice what physicists had overlooked: that these waves carry not just energy, but harmony.

The healing power of Scalar lies in its ability to create a zero-point field—a place of perfect balance, where the body remembers how to restore itself. (If you’re a science nerd like me, you can read more here: The Science and Mysticism Behind Scalar Waves.)

But for me, scalar is more than physics. When I tune into it, it feels like slipping into the hidden hum beneath the world. A stillness that isn’t empty, but full—alive, connecting breath to breath, heart to heart. Animals recognize it instantly. They soften into it. They trust it without question.

That dog with parvo? In the middle of the session, I felt his whole field shift—like a storm cloud parting. For the first time in days, his human said, “He looks peaceful.” It wasn’t a cure in one moment, but it was a turning point—one where life could tip back toward itself.

That is the essence of scalar. It doesn’t add anything foreign or forceful. It returns us to what was always there—the invisible threads that animals already trust, and that we, too, can remember.

Try this today

Sit quietly with your animal companion. Close your eyes. Imagine waves, not of sound or light, but of stillness—passing between your heart and theirs.

Don’t try to send them anything. Just notice what arises: a breath that slows, a muscle that softens, a memory that flickers. This is the subtle conversation of scalar.

From Sir Lancelot's Desk 🐾

Now, before I hand the page over: my cat who sometimes writes under the pen-name of Lancelot claims that he writes better than I do. I'll leave it to your wild imagination to guess who I am talking about. Against his better judgement—and perhaps mine—he has agreed (been coerced) to add his thoughts to this newsletter.

Dearest Readers,

It has come to my attention that the humans are dabbling in “Scalar Wave Healing.” Allow me to provide a feline perspective, for accuracy’s sake.

Scalar, as far as I can discern, is rather like lying in a sunbeam you didn’t know existed until you stretched into it. One moment, you are sprawled in existential ennui (waiting, perhaps, for dinner). The next, you are purring in tune with the universe.

Do not be fooled: this is not the sort of Wi-Fi that collapses mid–Zoom call. This is the cosmic variety—always on, utterly stable, and most importantly, catering exclusively to those of refined sensibilities.

I, of course, was an early adopter. While my human marvels at “frequency” and “coherence,” I simply yawn, roll over, and enjoy the sensation of being exquisitely attuned to existence.

In summary:

  • Scalar feels like the purr of the cosmos.
  • Humans complicate it with terminology.
  • Cats, as always, understood it first.

If you’d like the longer version of my observations (including my experiment involving three naps, and a rather disappointing training session with junior), you may consult my journal here: Sir Lancelot’s Scalar Journal.

Yours in superior wisdom,
Sir Lancelot

And I’ll leave you with this:

Whether you linger in the poetry of the unseen, laugh at Sir Lancelot’s disdainful truths, or simply sit quietly with your animal this week—remember: interconnectedness is the antidote to chaos.

The world may thunder with news and noise, but beneath it runs a current that never breaks. That current is waiting for you.

PS: Sir Lancelot has promised more unsolicited wisdom next month.

With love and a little wild magic,
